Community Work

I have thoroughly enjoyed doing community work and being of service to others. Since I learned to drive I have willingly taken my mother, my sisters and my grandmother to places. This spirit of service in the family has been transferred to my life in school and university. I believe that people who have an ideal of service to others lead more rewarding lives.

My community service experiences include the following:

May 2005 to April 2006 

Office Work--updated volunteer database using Microsoft Access; updated forms and confidential information from the children in the program;performed all the usual office tasks including photocopying of information.

Production Assistant June 2003

Monitored auditions and registration;guided contestats to proper holding areas;performed security duties;provided information to parents and contestants.
